Between the ongoing pandemic and the upcoming political elections, 2020 has been an emotional roller coaster. This virtual workshop will explore simple mindfulness techniques to reduce the stress and anxiety that so many of us are experiencing. The science-based session will include teachings on the two neural pathways of anxiety and offer brain health techniques like breathwork, noting, and body awareness to alleviate anxiety in everyday life. Participants will enjoy a 20-minute guided meditation for calm and well-being and leave with accessible takeaways for daily mindfulness practice.
