Mastermind Mindfulness Certification Program – Fall 2020

Mastermind, the region’s only mindful meditation studio dedicated to science-backed mindfulness practice, is now offering an exclusive Science-Based Mindful Meditation Certification. Led by Dr. Marty Lumpkin and Dorsey Standish, this custom course allows you the space and support to deepen your mindfulness knowledge and practice, in addition to giving you the insight, skills and experience to teach others.

Mastermind Science-Based Mindful Meditation Certification Course Includes:

  • A deeper understanding of brain health and wellness
  • Study of research supporting brain health and mindfulness
  • A deep dive into the pillars of mindful meditation
  • Study of various mindful practices and techniques
  • Support in deepening your own mindful meditation practice
  • Guidance in introducing others to mindfulness
  • Hands-on practice leading guided meditations 
  • 60 hours of learning and practice guided by leading mindfulness experts
  • Access to all Mastermind workshops offered during the training (a $400 value)

Program Dates: September 12-13, October 3-4, October 24-25, November 7-8, December 5-6

Program Hours: Saturday’s from 9am – 3pm and Sunday’s from 2pm – 6pm

Dorsey is the Chief Mindfulness Officer of Mastermind Meditation, where she brings research-backed mindfulness and mindful movement to clients throughout the state of Texas. A lifelong learner and scientist, Dorsey has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and is enrolled in the UT Dallas Applied Cognition and Neuroscience Master’s Program. After mindfulness transformed her own work, health and relationships, Dorsey left her corporate role at Texas Instruments to share the power of mindfulness with others full-time. Dorsey’s teachings combine neuroscience research with her experiences in Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program and multiple weekend and 10-day silent meditation retreats.
