Dorsey Standish

Dorsey Standish is the Chief Mindfulness Officer of Mastermind, a Dallas-based gym for your brain. Dorsey is a mechanical engineer, neuroscientist, and wellness expert who brings evidence-based mindfulness meditation to clients nationwide. Dorsey has shared science-based mindfulness solutions with hundreds of companies, including Staples, Deloitte, United Way, Peloton, and Pier 1. Dorsey’s teachings draw on her training as a teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction through Brown University and her deep experience on regular seven-day silent meditation retreats studying with master teachers.

Mindfulness for Anxiety

This virtual workshop will explore simple mindfulness techniques to reduce the stress and anxiety that so many of us are experiencing. The science-based session will include teachings on the two neural pathways of anxiety and offer brain health techniques like breathwork, noting, and body awareness to alleviate anxiety in everyday life. Participants will enjoy a 20-minute guided meditation for calm and well-being and leave with accessible takeaways for daily mindfulness practice.
