Relax into healing rest! Discover the transformative power of restful relaxation with guided meditations. Participants will learn how to use mindfulness meditation to relax the nervous system and slow their brain waves, promoting restoration, relaxation, and healing. Methods presented will include breath & body awareness, guided relaxation, sensory ‘unspooling’, and visualization. Participants will leave with techniques for daily rest and better sleep.
Please bring a yoga mat, meditation cushion and/or pillow and blanket if you have one. Some props will also be provided.
Ryann Hanes-Sloan is a Yoga and Mindfulness teacher in Dallas, Texas. She has dedicated her life to studying the most effective ways to help others move through blockages and increase their presence. Ryann has studied with UCLA’s Mindful Awareness Research Program and has been lucky to study and teach across the globe. She considers the culmination of these experiences to be her inspiration for connecting with others and helping them to learn the tools to uncover their true brilliance.
