Mindful Happy Hour at Spanish House

This class is an opportunity to unwind, relax, mingle and get your mindfulness on. The experience will include mindful eating and drinking tips and a celebratory mindfulness practice. Expect good food, good drinks, and good conversation. Unwind from your work week, connect with your fellow parents, and celebrate the semester of mindful practice.


Dorsey Standish is the Chief Operations Officer of Mastermind, the region’s first “gym” for your brain. Dorsey has nearly ten years of experience practicing and teaching mindfulness. She’s completed four-day and ten-day silent retreats and is currently studying the UMass Medical School’s Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction technique. Dorsey has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and is currently working on earning a M.S. in Applied Cognition & Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas. In 2016, Dorsey left the tech industry to pursue a career in teaching mindfulness, where she teaches high performers how to harness greater equanimity and depth of focus through mindfulness-based brain health.
