How to Rest

Relax into healing rest! Discover the transformative power of restful relaxation with guided meditations by Kirsten Burch. Participants will learn how to use mindfulness meditation to relax the nervous system and slow their brain waves, promoting restoration, relaxation, and healing. Methods presented will include breath & body awareness, guided relaxation, sensory ‘unspooling’, and visualization. Participants will leave with techniques for daily rest and better sleep. 


Kirsten Joy Burch is the founder of Living Yoga Dallas and teaches yoga, meditation, and nutrition throughout the DFW area. Kirsten is certified in ParaYoga and Yoga for Anxiety & Depression. She is also an Ayuredic Lifestyle Counselor & Nutritionist. A longtime practitioner, Kirsten is known for her science-based approach to the teaching of yoga and meditation.
