UTD Brain Performance Institute:

November & December Classes

Mindful Meditation for Beginners (4 weeks, 6 hrs total)
Mindful meditation might be called the great missing piece for living sanely and healthily in today’s high-pressure world. In this special four-week Mindful Meditation for Beginners seminar, Mastermind instructors will teach mindfulness as a way of bringing great awareness, ease, energy, and freedom into daily life. Practicing mindfulness trains the brain to focus on the only place life can be lived -- in the present moment. Touted by past participants as “life-changing,” this class is designed for those wanting to develop their own mindfulness practice. The Mindful Meditation for Beginners curriculum includes a background on mindfulness, important brain health information, the study of the pillars of mindfulness and the practice of various mindfulness techniques – all in a supportive environment structured to help you design your own personal practice.
